Taplins Place is a 400 year old farmhouse set in the beautiful rolling countryside of Hampshire, just minutes from the historic and picturesque town of Hartley Wintney.
Our aim is to make your special day the most memorable day of your lives. With a picturesque garden straight out of a fairytale, lush greens and beautiful blooming flowers abound, a large koi pond, private wooded area, waterfalls and a beautiful grand old weeping willow you wont need the pictures to remind you of the sheer beauty of our location.
Flexibility is our motto, weddings are your day, so make it personal, don't settle for package deals at a hotel, don't share the space with other wedding groups, or be limited with what you are allowed to do like other venues. With us you get the space and the flexibility to truly live out your dream day, we accomodate any size and type of wedding at a terrific price you wont find anywhere else. The Marquee WeddingThe Marquee Meadow adjoins the gardens through a fabulous pergola draped in honeysuckles. We can arrange for you to have a Marquee of any size so whether its 100 guests or 600 guests we can accomodate you.With parking for 100 + cars, luxury themed toilets on site, and two kitchen/ preparation areas. You have everything you need right here, no need to rent expensive mobile toilets and kitchens.You will get the car park, gorgeous landscaped gardens, the marquee meadow, toilets and kitchen for one great price, no hidden extras, no restrictions.

Then check out the Old Stables our purpose built hall converted from the old Stable block.Large enough to seat 100 guests (150 standing) with a purpose built kitchen/ preparation area, bar area, exposed beams and dedicated toilets all overlooking the beautiful grand willow tree and koi pond.Included with the hall you get the extensive gardens, car park, kitchen and toilets. Perfect for the smaller wedding.
